Who We Are

We are a multi-generational community built on the enjoyment of American Contra dance and folk music.

Dances are held every Monday night and on the third Saturday of each month at 1228 E Breckinridge St.

First time is always $Free! After that Mondays are just $10 and Saturdays are $15.

For students with ID, Mondays are $5 and Saturdays are $8.

Our schedule is subject to change based on things like weather or public health emergencies.

Free beginners lessons start promptly at 7:30 before each Monday night dance and teaching continues throughout the entire night.

We have live music at every dance we hold. On Mondays we host our favorite open band, The Monday Night All-Stars.

Our dance community is made up of dancers of all ages and skill levels.

The best way to get moving, hear great music, and meet new people all at the same time.
